Steps On How To Run Java Softwares On A Computer.

1. Download KEmulator to your Pc[Link available below] and extract the contents of the zip folder to a new folder.
2. Preferably,create a shortcut to the folder for faster accessibility.
3. Next,run the application and you'll see a pop-up which looks exactly like the image below
   
4. Now,to play or run a software,navigate to “Midlet” at the top-left corner of the screen and click to browse through your system.
5. CHANGING THE SCREEN-RESOLUTION ~ At this point,newbies get frustrated with the default screen resolution which is by default set to display a Mobile phoneres. of 176 * 220 as they do not know how to tweak it.

   To change these values,go to View » Options and change it accordingly
   Note that you'll need to re-start the software for changes to take effect.

6. Set a custom network proxy to make-use-of when you run a browser.This is also accessible from view > options.
7. Lastly,you will need to configure the key-map to function as you deem-fit.

18 HOW TO PLAY NINTENDO(.nes) GAMES ON A JAVA PHONE.

In my previous post,I wrote on “how to play nintendo,gameboy...games on mobile phones”.

In that post,the softwares available were for symbian phones and like I mentioned in one of my other posts[how to take screenshots on java phones],java users shouldn't be left out of the fun.

Today,I'll be giving an emulator which works on all java enabled phones ->NESCUBE!!!.

With this emulator,you can play all nintendo games without stress anytime & everywhere.

How to play games with nescube.

To begin with this tutorial,download the software here.[in .jar format.] Once you've downloaded the emulator,launch it & you'll see a box rolling with a text asking you to press any number.

Next,a page will open with four options i.e

• Open game
• Settings
• About &
• Help

Click on Open game & three other options will be displayed.

Next, click on the directory your nes game is located,i.e either C:/ or E:/ and then continue until you locate the folder containing the nintendo game.

Once you locate it,just click on it & the game will automatically start. If you are not satisfied with the sound,keys or color mixture,you can always do that from the software's settings. Once again,download nescube here.

In case you don't have a .nes game on your mobile phone,you can download it from» www.coolrom.com or just search for “nes games” on any of your favorite search engines.

You might have seen some of your friends play the games you loved to play as a kid on their mobile phones.
Saying this,I mean games like Super Mario,Contra,Final Fantasy etc..

How To Play The Games With Downloaded Emulators.

Having received many comments and eMails asking for the finale of this post,I had no choice but to finish it all up.
It never occured to me to further elaborate on this topic,as all needed instructions are given in the download(s) site.
Nevertheless,I'm importuned to do so.

• Once you've downloaded your favourite Emulator,install it
• Locate a path named C:\Others\vBag if you're using an S60v2 phone and you installed the app. on Phone Memory OR E:\data\Others\vBag or C:\vampent\gbaroms and E:\vampent\gbaroms if you installed it on “Memory Card”.
Else,if you are using a S60v3 and above device,then
• locate E: or C:\data\vampent
• Once found,extract the Rom files from the Zip container and drop it there.
• Now to play them,locate the installed Vampent application and launch it.
• You should see a collection of all your extracted Rom games in it.

That's it.You can now play those ancient games on your mobile phone without stress. All you've got to do is download the Rom files & follow the instructions above to play them☺.
