1 HOW TO UNMASK A SHORTENED URL.

Nowadays, we often check a website's url over & over again to atleast ensure it doesn't look fishy.
But in a case whereby the url has been masked, then what do we do?

If you are not familiar with the term “URL masking”,it simply means using free services provided by some websites such as TinyURL,Bit.ly,goo.gl...to make extremely long URLs short and also to hide a specific link from being viewed directly.

So,to unmask/view a masked url, here's what you need do »

  1. Get the url you want to unmask
    E.g http://tinyurl.com/dxk2jdq
  2. Visit http://www.unshortn.com and paste the url in the text box(You can use the above url).
  3. Finally, click on “Make Longer →” which is directly below the text box and you should see the real link live & direct.
That's all.
You can use this service to certify which website the link is pointing to before actually visiting it.

0 HOW TO KNOW AND AVOID SCAM WEBSITES.

After being scammed by two PTC/PTR sites,I decided to do a little research before venturing into another.

Luckily,I was able to get a very easy & effective trick which saved my day.

This trick involves using Google or any other search engine to review all “scam” reports of a website before actually taking the risk.

So,anytime you want to risk using a PTC/PTR or some other affiliate websites, you should first run a background check on them.

Here's How...

Get the website's url and write it in google with the text “SCAM” in front of it,in this format[Using my site as an example, though not an affiliate blog] » http://freebie-planet.blogspot.com SCAM

You can use the search box below to quickly review a website using Google search..

That's it.Thanks to Okaztle of okaztle.com for providing this tip.
