If you are not satisfied with the speed at which your window's menu responds when clicked on,then it's time to make it faster.
In this post,I will be giving you a simple trick to turn it into a thunder bolt.
In my previous post,I wrote on
how to increase shutdown speed in WindowsXP!!,and this post can be said to be a continuaton of Speeding up your Pc.
DECREASE MENU DELAY.
With this trick,you can decrease the delay between clicking on a menu and XP displaying the menu.Just follow the instructions carefully.
- Go to Start » Run and Type “Regedit” then click on Ok
- Find this query»
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Desktop\
and Select MenuShowDelay
- Next,right click and select “Modify”.Reduce the number to anything,but preferably “100”{the lower the faster}.
This is the time the menu delays before it opens.
