     attrib -h -r -s /s /d E:\*.*
     (Change E: to your drive's extension.)

     a.)Go to the control panel to untick “Hide protected operating system files” by navigating through the File-Menu i.e “Tools > Folder Options”... Now Select the  “View” tab, and Scroll down till you see “Hide protected operating system files”, untick it.
     b.)Navigate to “C:\Windows\System32” and manually delete regsvr (Please note: This is different from the file "regsvr32.exe".
   NB: 
   If you can't find the file in System32, then try locating it in “C:\program files”
   If you still cannot find it there,then try locating it in the “Processes” tab in Task Manager.

Steps To Clear Real Player History.

1. Launch/Open your File Manager(Xplore)
2. Navigate to C:\private\10005A3E\
   (Launch Rom Patcher if you can't gain access to “Private” folder.)
3. Next,delete the .dat file present in it,i.e ‘mediaplayer.dat’.
4. Finally,open your Real player to confirm 'history' deletion.

That's all.

If you would like to permanently disable this feature,then follow the steps below.

1. Launch your Xplore and navigate to C:\private\10005A3E\
2. Next,delete ‘mediaplayer.dat’ and create a new-empty txt file
3. Name it Mediaplayer.dat and change its attributes to ‘read only’

You can now exit all open applications and try viewing a video file to ensure all is working perfectly.

3. Locate `Password here` in the code above and change it to whatever password you want to use (Simple to remember,but hard for others to guess)
4. Now click on File » Save as and give it any name you so desire but with a .bat extension.
   E.g : Lock.bat
5. Now,exit notepad and on getting to the new folder you created previously, you'll see a "LOCKER" command.
6. Double-click on this file and a new folder will appear (Private OR Confidential)
7. Now,copy/move all you want to hide in this “Private/Confidential” folder and go back one step.
8. Double-click on the "LOCKER" command again and you'll be greeted with something new.
9. Just press 'Y' as instructed and hit enter.
   Immediately,the ‘PRIVATE / CONFIDENTIAL’ folder will disappear.
Now,all your files & documents are secured in this hidden folder.
10. To undo hiding,double-click on this “Locker” command again and input the password you used above. Hit Enter and the hidden folder will re-appear..

Now,that's it.

These files can still be sometimes accessed using the search,so it is highly recommended you rename your files before hiding them so as to ensure its maximum security.

2 HOW TO CHANGE WINDOWS 7 STARTER BACKGROUND/WALLPAPER.

This being the very first post this year,I'd like to say ‘Happy New Year’ to you all.

By default,the Windows 7 Starter edition of windows does not include the Personalization feature to 'change desktop background',edit 'Sounds,color & ScreenSaver' when the desktop is right-clicked on,and this makes it rather galling.

Having to leave the Computer's background all blue is even more appaling.
As a newbie to using the starter version,I didn't know it was a minus to its features as I resolved within me that I'd purchased a fake Computer system and wanted to return it as I was still within the period of guarantee until I met an engineer who informed me that the background can 'NEVER' be changed unless the OS is changed to another version.

While still planning to purchase an higher version of the Windows 7,I came across a software while surfing the net and that changed the whole story.

So in this article,I'll be giving two softwares which in my perspective are the only ones available and capable of changing the Starter desktop background.
So,I'll advise you to sit back with a cup of coffee in hand coz you might need it while trying to decide which software to download.

12 HOW TO FIX “TASK MANAGER HAS BEEN DISABLED BY YOUR ADMINISTRATOR” ERROR IN WINDOWS.

Task Manager can be said to be one of the most useful applications on a Computer system.
It really comes handy in occasions whereby some softwares can't be stopped or is Unstable.
It's also the 'number 1' choice to check all running processes,monitor CPU Performance etc.

But,what happens in the case it becomes inaccessible due to malwares or viruses? and you keep getting some funny errors like “Task manager Disabled by Administrator”?

So, if you've been getting this error while trying to access your task manager,here is a fix to enable it again.

METHOD #1:-Registry Editor.

1. Click on “Start” and navigate to “Run”[you can use the search.]
2. Type “regedit” in the text box and hit “Enter”.
3. Now,navigate to
   HKEY_CURRENT_USERS\Software\Microsoft\windows\currentVersion\Policies\System

4. Once located, you'll see “Disabled Taskmgr” option at the right pane.
   Simply delete it or double click on it and change its value to “0”

METHOD #2:-Through the Group Policy.

Alternatively,if you do not find a “Disabled Taskmgr” key in Registry,then try this »

1. Click on “Start” and navigate to “Run”[you can use the search.]
2. Type “gpedit.msc” and hit Enter.
3. Navigate to Configuration » Administrative Templates » System » Crtl+Alt+Del Option » Remove Task Manager
4. Once found,right click on it to choose “Edit” and select “Not configured”.
5. Finally apply & OK it, then exit.

That should fix it.But,if the Task Manager still refuses to be accessible, you can try scanning your PC for malmares.

Though there are some other applications capable of doing a fine job,for the benefit of this tutorial we'll be making use of “GT TEXT”

GT Text [Ground Truth Text].

Like mentioned above,GT Text is a 'freeware' software which allows its users copy text from picture files easily without having to pass through the stress of writing-out/re-typing every bit of words in a picture.

It comes handy when you're dealing with tasks involving images with words/quotes im-printed on it.
Sometimes,you might even take shots just for the texts in it e.g Taking images of an event's address on a poster/Bill board etc....

To use “GT Text”,just follow these easy steps...

1. Visit the Software's download page [65MB] and download the latest version of the freeware.

2. Once downloaded,install the program and run it.
3. From the File manager that pops up,select which type of image you want to copy texts from and browse to the folder containing the image.
   Supported images include .jpg, .png, .gif, .BMP, & .TIFF.
4. Next,select “Open” and when the image finish loading,click on the “Area Text OCR”
5. Now,click and drag your mouse to highlight from the image the area you want to copy,then release the mouse.
6. When released,an instruction pops-up.Just click on “Continue” to copy the highlighted section to the clipboard.
7. Now,open your notepad and paste the text there.

If you'd like to extract the whole texts from the image,then you can easily do that by navigating to Tools » Copy Text From » Full image or by simply clicking on CTRL + F.
So either way,all text appearing on the image will be automatically saved to the clipboard.
Thereafter,you can do whatever you please with the text i.e editing,saving...

2. Launch SmartCam on PC and set connection type in the SETTINGS to TCP/IP (Wifi).
3. Turn-on Wifi on your Android phone and connect your phone to the network your Pc is connected to.
4. Finally,select “Connect Wifi” from the Android application's menu.

If done properly,you should see an image of your phone on your desktop.

2 HOW TO HACK A SYMBIAN PHONE USING DR WEB'S ANTI-VIRUS.

In a previous post,I talked on how you can hack a symbian phone without using a computer.

So today,still on hacking issue,I'll be talking on how you can do this with Dr Web's Anti-virus.
Though this method requires computer,you can decide to use this method if you are not satisfied with the former….

How to hack symbian phones using Dr web's Antivirus.

To begin with this tutorial,you should get THIS FILE ready[750kb].

1. Connect your phone's Memory card to your PC(To gain access to private folder)
2. Extract QuarantineDriversLDD.zip from the file you downloaded above & unzip it.
   Next,extract 20024113 from the folder you unzipped to your memory card's “Private folder”
3. Now,put the memory card back in your phone & install the .sis file present in the file you downloaded i.edrweb-600-symbian-s60.sis(Make sure you install in phone).
4. Launch/Open the antivirus(Ignore all prompts).
   Now,go to Options » Quarantine(You'll see 3 files).Go back to Options » Select all, Options » Restore.
5. Install Rompatcher+ IN PHONE MEMORY and launch it.
6. Go to options in Rompatcher and select Add to Auto for both files.
   In to options again and this time,select All patches » Apply.
7. Both files(Install server RP+ and Open4All RP+) should be with a green tick now.

That's it,Your phone is hacked.
You may uninstall the antivirus now.

NOTE:-Rompatcher should auto-start each time you switch-on your phone but if it doesn't,run the file.

For the Installserver.exe file,it's not needed if you are using a Symbianv3 phone,but if you are using a s60v5 or s60^3 phone,you should try installing an unsigned application.
If that doesn't work,replace the installserver.exe file in C:\sys\bin with the one in the file.
Once again,DOWNLOAD THE FILE HERE.

4. Trend micro mobile Security.sis

STEP 1→

• Open the zip file you downloaded and extract tmquarantine to C: in order to get path “C:\tmquarantine\” using Xplore.
